Program

Night in the Air-Raid Shelter

Come and explore the air-raid shelter beneath the Faculty of Arts and discover its original equipment, including maps, records, and communication devices. The exhibition begins in the cloakroom area, continues through the gas-proof antechamber originally intended for hygiene purposes, and leads into rooms designated for shelter occupants and the command staff. The shelter is freely accessible without prior registration. The event is suitable for both adults and children; we recommend it for ages seven and up.

The Poetry of Tea Leaves: A Workshop with Helena Lněničková

Blending verses, metaphors, flavors, and aromas? Creating different tea blends inspired by poetry? Poet and translator Helena Lněničková will introduce participants in the slow tea workshop to the art of crafting tea blends. The program will take place against the backdrop of the solo exhibition Nakrmit něhou, roztrhat dlaní / Sweet Kisses & Ripping to Pieces and will be accompanied by a performance on the handpan. The workshop is suitable for children and adults of all ages; each participant will take home three blended teas. Multiple people may attend under a single registration (e.g., a parent and child). Admission is free; please register in advance at www.phil.muni.cz. A few spots will be available for walk-ins.
